After School Program

The After School Program ensures that students are in a safe and nurturing environment during the evening hours. The program’s staff encourage individual growth by assisting children with their academics in addition to advancing their social development.

Academic Support
Children receive academic support through tutoring and homework assistance on a daily basis. Access to a computer-based tutoring program is available to students who are in need of additional instruction in reading and mathematics.

Social Development
Social development is encouraged through group activities focused on relationship-building with both the program staff and the other participants. The positive interactions that take place after school are significant for students with severe social deficits.

Schedule
The program takes place directly after school to 6 pm. Parents are required to pick their child up prior to that time. Transportation may be arranged prior to the child’s enrollment in the program for an additional fee.
