Comprehensive Evening Program
The Comprehensive Evening Program (CEP) is an alternative to Education Alternatives’ day treatment program. The CEP is convenient for students in need of academic instruction during evening hours, as a result of employment, requirements needed for graduation, or distractions experienced during the traditional school day. Students are instructed by licensed teachers and support staff and participate in independent and computer-assisted learning. Students also participate in Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) to complete the requirements for graduation in accordance with Ohio’s Academic Content Standards.
Students enrolled in CEP take part in therapeutic groups each evening. The groups are led by behavioral interventionists and focus on topics such as anger management, self-control, and life skills.
The CEP’s hours are from 3:30pm to 7:00pm, Monday through Thursday throughout the school year. Students are provided a meal, as well as transportation to and from the program, located at the EA Bedford site.
